I'll not be a dick.
Go high. I've personally seen bulls with more than 8 per side up near marader crk. (sp?)
Good friend has video of a brush bull sporting 9 on his right from last yr. You will not see many like this or many (if any) that are "book bulls" as some like to say.
Me I dont shoot a critter for his number, but rather his meat and the good time involved. If you go with that in mind, and patience a 6 point should be practical/ achieveable.
Also, leave the damn truck parked.

Last yr a buddy was seeing a 8x8 regularly on the 3200 not sure exactly where. Almost certain he was well known and well hunted, and probably on a wall now.

Point is dont road hunt, big bulls are there if you hunt hard and hold out, (if you get a late season, dont count it out either) 504 side gets pressured harder than you may think also.

If your a road hunter, or disabled, it's still a easy tag to fill, but you'll probably land a 5x.
BRING LOTS OF ROPE AND YOUNG LEGS. (if your a road hunter/ disabled, if not, packboards).
Later,
Bill

I still can't think of that guys name, but I eventually will. In the meantime you might ask the forest ranger station who is permitted to guide, they will have contact info.

This would motivate a few people for sure.  I know that I have been known to support a few seedy taverns...  OK... A lot of Seedy Taverns.  Sorry I am not much help either, as I haven't spent any time in Margaret for over 10 years.

What bar is it that you own?  You may have a few patrons - or gain a few.

:chuckle: :chuckle: kkc66, I see you have a good sense of humor.  You edited your post to start with the fact that you own a bar. Good move.

I wish you luck.  Hope some of the guys that have drawn that tag in the last few years can chime in here with some advice.
