Hancock?
« on: August 26, 2009, 08:03:07 PM »
I've heard that it is ok to walk or bike in on hancock property in north bend without a permit.  Is this true? Also can u hunt elk there with an over the counter tag or do u have to put in for a special permit? Hard to find much info on web about Hancock. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can walk in, the permit is just for being able to take your vehicle.  Unless something has changed it shouldn't be a special permit up there.

you can not walk in, you will be trespassing. to be on there property you must have a permit

dont have $$$. would rather walk/bike in than pay, but sounds like that is not ok. I have a friend that has a permit out there and he thought you could as he has seen people biking in from time to time. You are sure that it is not ok?

I would call hancock just to make sure. I know in some areas if your trespassing you will be kicked out for life.

There is no need for a permit if you are on foot or bicycle.
