Owens is good.  I took my deer there last year.  Based on a recommendation I took my elk this year to a guy named Dave Anderson over there and then had Owens do all my smoked items.

I've taken 3 elk and 2 deer to Owens.  They've always done a good job with my cuts, roasts, burger, etc....however, I have had 3 years in a row of bad Summer Sausage.  It doesn't keep well, even if frozen.  It is real mushy and soggy.
So no more Summer Sausage and Pep. from there. IMO

A guy named Steve Snyder who was in partnership with another guy...I believe they called it Robbers Roost Meat Cutting is the best.  I've use everybody here.  With them, you're getting YOUR meat and the vacuum sealed packaging can't be beat.  Not only that, their cheaper.

Owen's makes phenomenal german sausage, the best I've ever had. I've taken deer there, and had some waterfowl done there too.
