Yes if...............it has a breech plug that accepts percussion or musket caps.  Interesting bit of history..........that gun was named for the owners daughter....Michelle or first name beginning with M and last name Knight.  The 85 is for the year company started.

I think I have one of these in .54 cal. I picked it up for $100.0. The only problem is I have to shoot it several times to get the cap to go off. I think the  spring is week or something. Very accurate gun when it does go off. LOL  I don't hunt with it but might if I can get a spring for it.
