There was a 430 bull shot out there a few years back.. It was still in velvet. I have my doubts about the land owners letting you hunt when the elk are there but thats just me.  I wouldnt use a bunch of points of what could be a total bust :dunno:

Well with the length of permit season, you should be able to make some use out of it.

It would be good if you were alloud to hunt the entire season but I think they tell you what 3 days to hunt and thats it.  No elk? tufff luck thanks for playing.

yep, what wdfw says, its 99 percent private and i think family and close friends get first crack at it then you get your 2 or 3 days if that and if their there or not is your problem.

Last years harvest was a spike and a 5x5. There was a picture of the spike in the last Bugle mag. I did a european on it. There weren't many elk on the property when they were allowed to hunt.

My friends son was drawn for the youth tag any bull, they call you when the elk are on the property- no call the entire season >:(. the elk stayed mostly on the hanford properties because the burn they had a couple years ago is now great feed.
