J & G Sales/gun question
« on: December 09, 2010, 03:05:58 PM »
Over the past year or so I've bought alot of ammo from J&G and because of this, every month or so I get a sales flyer in the mail. I've never bought any guns from them but I'm considering a couple. The guns I'm looking at are used, 1 is a Yugoslavian made Tokarev (never heard of it) 7.62x25 and the other is a Bulgarian made Makarov 9x18mm which I have heard of but don't know much about, they are both listed in very good condition.
I'm just wondering if anyone has bought any guns through J&G and what kind of experience you had, would you buy again thru them? Second, I know these are used, inexpensive ($200-$220) guns and they wouldn't replace my Ruger as a personal carry gun, but the ammo is cheap and they look like fun plinkin guns, anyone have either of these and have an opinion, good, bad or other about them?

I've known people who bought stuff through J&G who said they were good to deal with  :dunno: . That Tokarev will be a lot of fun to shoot but wear good ear protection they are really loud! It's very similar to a 1911 and that 7.62x25mm is a flat shooting accurate round and CHEAP.

I might have to pick up a tokarev for that price!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
