Treestand vs Ground Blind

Do you prefer ground blinds or treestands for bowhunting?

I have used both. I have a permenant tree stand and a climber as well as a ground blind. I will say I have killed more and some really nice bucks out of a tree stand.   

OH......I hunt with a rifle......most of the time anyways.

I have always used a tree stand when bow hunting backin Michigan. I like the ability to see nearly 360 and not be to obstructed by ground vegetation. Haven't been bow hunting in WA yet. Lots of different laws out this way!

Tree stand, no reason to try anything else when I want to sit. I have a summit climber, never been busted ever by any animal & it is really cool to look down at all of the unsuspecting animals. Last year I had deer, elk, bear & bobcat below me with no clue. Mike

I voted for treestand but would hunt out of a ground blind with no problem if I had to for any reason.

I actually prefer the tree stand in early season, and the blind in late season(easier to stay warm).

Done both..just adapt to the terrain. I have had places where u couldnt hang a stand

Tree stand hands down. Killed lots of bucks from the trees. That being said all my daughters start from a ground blind and then graduate to a tree stand. After years of experimenting with height I like em 35' or higher. Alot harder for deer to detect movement and sent control.

35' is just to high for me. Mine is at 17' and it does me just fine......I've had bucks walk right under me and never been busted, not even once.

Treestand hands down. I do not like the feeling of being inside and the sounds that I hear when sitting in a blind. I have sensitive hearing so I feel like I'm on high alert every second and like the 360` view around me, so again the Treestand.
