How old is he?  My dad is looking for a dog right now...he just asked me to keep an eye out for pups but has talked a lot in the past about getting a started dog.

Will he stay in a fenced yard?  Does he get along with other dogs?  My dad has an "accident" female half lab/half wirehair that must be about 6 or so now.  Blew out her knee somehow chasing birds and can't hunt (at least, not for very long), but it ended up having more lab than pointer, anyway, and he's a pointer type of guy.  His best dog was a pointer named Breeze that he lost a few years ago (old age.)

he is 7 and i am trying to obtain some pictures of him. He's like alot of other male dogs he sometimes isn't sure of other dogs at first but he's always came around. and as far as the fence, he's not in one now and he doesn't dig, but if its a fence he can see through and there are birds on the other side he will jump it if it is low enough, but that's should be expected with a bird dog i guess.. anyways ill post pics when i can get them.
