How long is it. I know it starts about a week before regular season.

Unfortunately that's for 2011.  The only place I can find 2012 information is in the proposed 2012-2014 regulations: http://wdfw.wa.gov/about/regulations/2012/wsr_12-04-098.pdf

If I read it correctly the dates this year are April 7 and 8.

Youth "season" is just the 2 days. I will be taking my 9 year old out for his first turkey hunt that he will be behind the gun on. Cant wait....just hope the birds will cooperate!

Two days; 04/07 & 08/2012.

youth seasons all depend on what your huntn, if you get the chance and the youth hunter doesnt mind what he shoots, then put the youth in for the skookumchuck hunt, vail is the devils backbone, there is a hunter every 500yds in that place but for the youth hunters that draw they get it all to theirselves the weekend before modern opener, it was an awesome hunt with my son, and we saw tons of deer.

Jackmaster, he was asking about turkey season.  Is that what you're referring to also?
