....but the reality is promoting going out and "taking" boards, wood, implements, etc that appear very old from public ground : :twocents:x10

I never said that my finds were on public ground. The two above insinuated I was on public ground.

exactly you never said one way or another and since most here deal with public land and few own or have access to the type of ground that might harbor antiquities let alone relics, the vast majority is going to be very unaware of this world.  When a person is submerged in a world and in the know they often assume(wrongly) that others also know.  The vast majority of people dont know much about anything that isn't immediately relevant to their own world.  It seems I am an outlier of extreme proportion in the world we live in I make it a point to try and learn everything :) so I am extremely interested in your old stuff, I come from a background where old stuff was a way of life, however most people are vaguely aware of the world of antiques.... so you might have done better to educate along the way rather than just dive into a melee  :dunno:

or maybe you like melee's in which case carry on one and all  :)

You can pound sand harder than me !!!!!!  I wasn't being "hollier than thou" you dipstick !!!!!!!!!  :liar:

If you were not being a "Hollier than thou" Jackwagon than I sincerely apologize..Not
Good christ, I stated that, that would be some good lumber to salvage. For the record I salvage many many sites that have seasoned lumber and other rusty items..Wont go into my details or  credentials but my ducks are in a row. Just gotta love internet doorknobs and the old brass ones from cabins!

I certainly hope you know what you are doing, because if you are taking artifacts from any type of public land, or private land without permission, your actions would be illegal, immoral, unethical and self-absorbed.  In other words, you would be stealing.

JackWagon, oops I mean Knocker of Rocks, thanks for your advise on "artifacts" and how I would be a scum sucking troll if I didnt have my ducky's in a row..Did you ever consider I may be some land tycoon? Dont suck up now because there is now wayin hell you would get access to any of it!

Another picture of an artifact...I can already hear the "grave robber" comments coming from you two . :hello:

I could careless what you do in life or about you. Don't know where you live, and don't care. I was just suggesting something to cover your ass. Then you tell me to pound sand. That doesn't go over to well with me for something that you don't explain in your post. I think maybe you'll alittle self centered and righteous and could careless about others comments. So, if you don't like what people have to say, be more specific in your posts ! I see a lot of cool stuff from old miners cabins here where I live. Take all you want.................
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

if you go into your profile and then into the settings there is one that says ignore users add the user name of the ignored person there

F. O. I really get tired of getting blamed for ignorance from posers. You sound like a women trying to get the last word in. Maybe you should be more specific if you post things. I'd really lay into you for being such an ass, but I'd get banned.
