iv been looking for a wind shelter for a while now and haven't found anything that looked like it worked or last, any suggestions.

Logan, we have always carried multi layers of aluminum foil with our back country stoves. Works great to keep wind out of any of your cookstoves and doubles to cook in if you get any small game or fish...

REI and Coleman have some leight weight wind screens made out of aluminum as Iceman mentioned.
