first muzzleloader

so I just traded a non used boat for a cva eclipse hunter along with several other items  . Has anyone had any success or problems with this gun? how are they for a starter?

I have no experience with them.  However I do know people that have shot other CVA's and have loved them.  My dad actually just bought a CVA buckhorn last weekend.  It was used but looks like brand new and he got it cheap.  Should be a good gun for him to start out with.
