camping/strong boxes

I need to replace my coolers/storage containers for camping/hunting gear.  I want to build some out of wood and rope. Does anyone have any thoughts/pix/ideas I can "borrow"? Thanks

I have aluminum boxes that I use in various sizes with sturdy hinges and latches   My wood boxes stay home for storage purposes.
