Boot Glue?
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:44:23 AM »
Can anybody recommend a glue that I can use on the sole of my boot?  I've got a small seperation between two layers in the heel area, and I'm afraid that if I don't repair it now, it is only going to get worse.  Thanks

Go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's and buy a tube of vulkem polyurethane sealant ( a lumberyard should carry it also ). Guarantee you that your boot/shoe wil stay together when you work some of that into the seperated parts! Bull P.S. Don't let them sell you on other sealents. If they don't carry it, go to another store that does. If all of the above fails, contact me and I'll send you a tube. Bull

Vulkem takes weeks to fully cure.
