This guy enters and exits the field at the exact same spot daily and, for now, is showing himself well within legal hours. I watch him through the spotter in the evenings and just setup a cam a couple of days ago to get some pics to share. He'll definitely be in range of my setup and I hope to arrow him on the opener. I'm horrible at judging what a given buck would score, but I do know that he's a shooter. If I were to guess I'd say low 150s. What do you guys think on score?

I'm no good at scoring but I would say plenty. Nice buck.

Taxidermist friend thinks as high as 170, but I think that might be generous.

Have this guy coming by the cam around the same time. Not quite as big, or old, as the other guy. I'm not going to have a lot of time to hunt this year as I'm heading to Alaska in October for work, so I'm not opposed to taking the "smaller" guy. Hope to have one of 'em on the ground the first couple of days. Will keep you guys updated.

Grimes, if you shoot the smaller one why dont you hook a brother up with that bigger one? ;)

Might be possible. We'll have to wait and see what happens on my end first; unfortunate for you. The landowner is a really easy going, generous guy. I know that he's looking for someone to take out some doe's on the property. Maybe take a youngster out on a doe hunt and get yourself permission to take a buck. However, he only allows bowhunting on the property. I'll let you know how it all pans out. Hope elk hunting is a success for you and the TSOM crew!
