Smoked Brisket
« on: August 24, 2012, 07:56:18 PM »
I smoked a 14 pound full packer brisket on my pellet pit smoker.  Man did it turn out very good.  I forgot to take pictures of the brisket cut in  and on the plate, and by the time I realized it it was almost completely gone by everyone we had over.  Oh well next time I guess.

Here is a pic of it after the rub has been applied and sat in the fridge overnight.

This is a pic of the hunk on the grill getting ready for a long low and slow cook.

This is a pic of it finished and resting.

Hope you enjoy the pic's everyone.......John

Where did you find a brisket ? I'd love to smoke one up when my 85 year old Mom is here. I'm going to Colville today.

Hey camp, I usually get my Briskets from Cash and Carry in Spokane, but I just found out that Walmart has the full packer briskets and they look really nice.  I will probably get them from Walmart from now on since there is one in town.

OK, thanks. I knew they weren't from around here. I'll be stopping by Walmart.
