my rock creek archery experience.
« on: August 27, 2012, 07:25:41 PM »
so i had to get my cams timed and decided i would drive way out of my way to go see the new archery shop in enumclaw. walking thru the door there is not much to see yet as merchandise is still coming in but it was very clean and well set up. they do have the best selection of dead down wind ive ever seen as they have everything on the menu including clothing swag, and a good selection of bows. i was properly greeted and razzed a little about my hoyt as they are bowtech guys, but in a fun acceptable way. they got me tuned up within minutes with great service, as he talked while he worked. which was a breath of fresh air since im used to "i got bows ahead of you and it will be ready in 3 days" .so to be honest probably the best service ive ever had. the hands down best thing ive seen from a shop trying to up sell on a bow was the free crono to see how fast my bow was shooting then gave me a bowtech shooting 5 less pounds draw then my bow and let me watch it shoot 15 fps faster. so thumbs up on that, since i feel is extremely dumb for a shop to charge a customer to shoot an arrow through a crono.  it really made me re think my next bow and where ill be buying it. they had coffee and liked to bs which gave it that good ole boy shop feel. i wish it wasnt so far away as it would really be my new go to store. so big thanks to them and they get   in my book!
they call me the bloodhound cause i can track a wounded animal in the rain for 2 days when all it has is a splinter.. sniff sniff awooo

I've been treated well by Denton.  I'm glad I'm close to this shop.

I've got an Alphamax 32 and I shot that Insanity as well.  That Insanity is a really nice bow.  I'm not in the market for a new bow but I would give it serious consideration if I was.  I've shown this photo in another thread but here's my bow with the string that Denton did and new arrows that he made up.

I'm glad to hear that you guys have had good service there . Denton has been making my strings and tunning my stuff for some time now. He is mythotical about doing it right not just ok for now. It's worth the drive out to rock creek for me to get that kind of service. I'm glad to see Darcie and Denton working hard to get the new buissness going and I'm sure as the word gets out there more and more product will be on the shelves  for us junkies to purchace ! Btw that bowtech is a fast and solid sob most likley will be my next set up .
