Keep the truck, put in a 7.3l deisle, saw one for 3k-4k awhile back. Those engines run 300,000 . Your grand kids will be driving it around.

read the headline and just assumed, didn't read the message, I thought the engine was missing... not mis-firing. sorry. Doubt it would take 15K to replace engine however. I've had it done and it didn't cost anywhere near that.
