Any Northeast bears taken?
« on: September 11, 2012, 04:41:09 PM »
I have been searching high and low for some bears and have had ZERO luck.  Found some sign high up in the huckleberries but I have not laid eyes on a bear this season.  Is anyone seeing anything?  Not asking for spots, just advice.  If anyone has any thoughts I would greatly appreciate it.

Nope, none in the NE!

Welcome ot the site robertsjd. nice bear although I don't think Mazama would be considered the N.E..

Saw 4 bears over the weekend in Stevens County.
Just one more day

Read everything bearpaw has to write on bears.  Hes prophetic.  Gave me a small tip on calling and it worked like he told the bear exactly what to do, amazing.  I see more bears up there in the dark wet timber, not open hills suntanning!!!! :chuckle:
MAGA!  Again..

Seen 4 this season.  One wouldn't give me a shot at 25 yards with my bow.  a Sow and 2 cubs accounted for the other 3.
