I think just in general i was just referring to the length of both shots. I would have shot the second time too. Just seems I read all the time people are trying to shoot deer at 75-100 yards.

No worries, I will take a 80 yard broad side shot in good conditions all day long. Only because im confident in my abitlity to make it and in my equiptment.
Avid ARCHERY deer and elk hunter.
Coyote killer in the off season.
MX Racer simi retired to practice when I can.

Nice shot that was a tuff deer I would of took that second shot with out thinking, besides what do you got to lose.
