Going to Randle for the weekend.
« on: September 14, 2012, 10:50:19 AM »
Heading down to Randle to do a little bow hunting for deer and some scouting for elk.  Hope I see something if not it will just be nice to get out in the woods.

Its been a few years but I've nosed around in there a bit. My son and I were bear huntin in there during the bow deer/elk season. The bow hunters we spoke to hadn't seen anything. In a the coouple hours we were there, we spotted a nice 3 point blackey and a 5x5 bull. We had a good laugh about it.
Its the goin'.....Not the gettin'

Theres elk in there but when snow flies they migrate down.  More elk and quite a few hunters.  Good luck, steep stuff.
MAGA!  Again..

Good scouting mission.  Got some good ideas.  Heard elk bugling when I headed out the door Saturday.  Lots of bow hunters up high so hoping the ML season isn't so bad....all the deer I saw was on the side of highway 12 in peoples yards.   :chuckle: :chuckle:
