He said he would post pics after he walked his daughter to the bus stop.....Well, that ha been 40 minutes ago!! I would say he either needs to get a closer bus stop, or he is sitting there enjoying the pain he is putting us through!!!!

So here is what I know for sure.....This guy stole my salt block and I caught it on camera. 

What I believe to have happened based off the series of pictures.....He shot an elk and was tracking it.  He flagged over 100 yards of trail and a dead elk was found very close...unrecovered and rotten.  It was found by watching the turkey vultures and the smell. 

Why I want to talk to this guy.....I believe it to be the same guy who:

1.  Though not illegal to take the salt, it is very unethical and in my books makes this guy a scumbag.  I want to tell him this first hand. 
2.  Drives behind locked gates to get to his tree stand.
3.  Harassed an 71 yo hunter two years ago.
4. knowingly cut a path into me and my hunting partners stand and logged a part of the forest to place a salt lick. 
5.  Has overall been a pain in the butt for the past three years and has no ethics when it comes to respecting other hunters and the land. 

Numbers 2-5 are all assuming this is the same camp / guy who I think it is.     This is why I wanted to talk to him prior to posting pics and the story.   I firmly believe he should be able to explain his actions.....though I don't know how he would justify the one thing I know, he is a salt block thieve.

These pictures are in sequential order and you can see by the times that is the case.  Like stated earlier....he stole my salt block, which is nto the big issue.  The bigger issue is I believe I have caught the culprit who has been doing many nauty things and gives the sport a bad name.  If I am wrong....I would love to hear from this guy who at best is a salt thieve.

Looks to be his hunting buddy.  Note the packs.

That is why I was holding out as long as I did....Your guys imaginations were way better than the actual story.     

Still pretty crappy that this guy would steal someones salt.  Even worse if it is the same guy who has been causing problems in our area for the past few years (I am pretty sure it is, but cannot prove it unless he speaks up).  I have pics of his truck / quad behind a locked gate and have already tuned it over to the authorities....though they seem to give a *censored* less.

I guess I don't know why someone would throw it in the brush???  I darn sure did not go look for it, I was in no mood for a scavenger hunt.  Doesn't make sense either way...He is a scumbag in my books.
