Modern Hunting on OP
« on: September 15, 2012, 08:22:09 PM »
Went hunting a few times last year but really want to hunt more this season. Looking to hunt modern for mainly deer, bear, and elk on the olympic peninsula but am having issues finding someone local to hunt with or show me around. I am not against going with someone and letting them shoot first, I just want to get out in the woods. Anyone looking for a hunting partner or can give me any advice about junting this area any help would be much appreciated.

Sorrry man....I wish I could help. I have only hunted one time over there for deer a looong time ago. All I remember is that I struck out. If you're ever over towards Monroe/Snohomish area, I'd be glad to take you out

You don't really have to go far from PA to hunt for deer/bear.  You can go to some of the areas near Little River in the national forest...maybe a full 10 minutes (maybe even less) from Albertson's to the huntable parts.  Seems most I know in the area like hood canal side for deer and west end for elk.
What kind of schedule do you try to hunt around?
