I carry the regs on my smart phone so I can review in the field and got a copy in my truck.

You might need a NW forest pass or pay the daily $5 at certain trailheads for the wildernesses of 621.

Take offense with this or dont.....

In this state the regulations can be much more daunting than finding critters. To me it doesnt sound like you are in any way prepared to hunt this season. Sorry to be a downer, not being a smartass, just saying what everybody is thinking.

I understand the time issue.......its just a little late to simply buy a tag and go "get me a deer". You are going to have a rough start by hunting out of season with a rifle because you are "retarded" about the regs.

West of Yakima,

Well I hunt in Little naches and Umtanum.  Yes the deer population went to chit years back. BUT, the bucks that are there are usually good ones. They do not stand on the side of the road!!! Get off the roads and hike, if you hear traffic go deeper into the hills..  I ve killed alot of deer up there over 27 years, SOme big some small.  I dont trophy hunt, I see legal deer I shoot it....

Now I helped you out a little, tell us about your hunting stuff?

30-06 ok, what kind? what bullets are you planning on using? pump, bolt, semi? everr shot any game animals? elk, deer, coyote, wolf, moose...  Every do any bird hunting???  Does anyone in your family hunt? how old are ya?
