since I missed out on my bow season I just might get out the smoke pole ..I used to change it up every couple years until they took away the muzzy in 336 ...man we used to have fun on that hunt ...Just memories now ...but its driving me nutz knowing I never left the house ..seems since I killed my big bull I have not been super excited about going ....Cant figure that out  but we are down to 3 packs of elk steaks from last year and thats not good  I am dieing to shoot those Jacketed Sabots ..it should just flat out drop one in a .54 cal     jUST A THOUGHT IN MY HEAD !

Isn't your tag Weapon-specific?  Or did they change that?

It is tag specfic if you didnt draw a multiple season tag or unles you live in a different sate like Idaho or Wyoming.  Then you can hunt until you kill one!

Yeah it is , IF YOU BOUGHT ONE  I have not bought one tag for anything yet except a turkey tag ...which is filled

 I still see a season in 336 for spike only  THAT IS SO FRICKIN STUPID ...Make when it used to be any elk ..now I am thinking again

Much has changed--Unit 113 used to be "Any Whitetail".  Now it's "Any Buck"  Makes the cost of fuel to get over there questionable as to it's worth.  Might just have to hunt the local Mulies this year.  Gotta decide soon.  Muzzy season opens the 29th.
