First Post and sighted my First Bear
« on: August 25, 2008, 12:42:32 PM »
Been lurking for awhile now and am no going to get in on the action this hunting season.  I was out Yesterday around Ashford and saw a nice bear from about 1/2mile away in a clear cut below me.  Before I could attempt to get within shooting range, he slipped off into the trees. :'(  But how I at least have a good area to concentrate my time in!!!

Hopefully this year will be the year I get my first bear.
