Why don't you use real antler? The guys I know taught their dogs with real antler.

I am using a real one now, but for a 9 week old pup its pretty hard to pick up with their teeth. I read that even though the texture is rubber, it smells the same, and looks the same so they get the game. Then once their a little older, i can switch to my real sheds. The shed im using for him now is a smaller one so he can still pick it up. Thats why I asked before I bought it.

Hey I started my lab with the kit as well... It worked great as a transition stage. He was real hesitant with the hardness of the bone off the bat do went to the kit and he loved it. About 3 weeks of that aloing with that scent liquid, than slowly moved into real antlers. Transitioned great, just loved the game! So now he's done so well, just needing to find good she'd areas. New to the state from Midwest. Great to hear yours is doing good! I'll post a couple pictures when I get a chance! Great lookin pup too!
