Lynx rug repair
« on: October 21, 2012, 08:39:39 PM »
Well after 20yrs of asking, my father finally gave me his Eurasian Lynx rug.
He took the Lynx in Iran where he was stationed in 1964.
He never displayed it so it was kept in his closet, so it seems to be in pretty good overall condition but does need some repair (broken tooth) & touch up (tongue & nose).
I was told they didn't have a large enough taxidermy skull for it at the time so they used the original skull & I believe a set of bear eyes.
I was hoping someone could give me the name of a taxidermist that specializes in cats or taxidermy repairs.
Thanks!
