Trillium Property?
« on: October 22, 2012, 01:13:40 PM »
Trying to find a spot closer to home. Has anyone attempted to hunt the trillium forest on Whidbey? Is it worth the time or is it better to play Cabellas most dangerous hunts at home? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I hiked in there last year, but no luck. I went on a week day, so there wasn't any other foot traffic. I would give it a try, any day in the woods is better than sitting at home. You might want to stop by the state park that backs up to the Trillium Forrest and pick up a map (it shows the layout of the woods as well as the trails). Good luck!
