This was a hit at Elk camp. My first year big game hunting and being invited to Elk Camp. Even though I didn't get an elk, I got an invite back. I made two different ones, one with fireball, one without. The fireball one was the winner.
OK guys.I have another great one for you.Since you ate up the first recipe try this one.PEACH PIEThis recipe yields a little over 3 fifths, you can easily double this recipe if you want a bigger batch..Ingredients:½ gallon (64 oz.) Welch’s White Grape Peach Juice1 ½ cups White Sugar1 can Sliced Peaches (15-16 oz.)3 Cinnamon Sticks½ cup ( 4oz.) Peach SchnappsBring this to a boil, then let it simmer covered for about an hour. Let it cool down to room temperature then add the following:1 cup (8-9 oz.) 190 proof Grain Alcohol, Everclear, Graves, etc.½ cup (4 oz.) Peach SchnappsYou may have to strain this a couple of times through cheesecloth. Now just pour it into some Mason Jars and let it sit for a couple of weeks in a cool dark place. You can drink it right away but the flavor does mellow and taste better.

The fireball one was the winner.care to share your recipe?Sure, first recipe I pretty much followed the original recipe. 1 gal of apple juice 1 gal of apple cider. although I added no sugar! It is sweet enough as it is. Then I put about 12 sticks of cinnamon in the pot. In a coffee filter put about 1tablespoon of nutmeg, 1/2 tablespoon of whole cloves, tie the coffee filter with butchers twine or similar (thought about pumpkin spice but didn't add might try in the next batch). 4 tablespoons of vanilla extract (was a little too much) Ad apple juice and cider and coffee filter and vanilla. Bring to boil, reduce heat and let simmer for about 15 min. Then completely take off heat and let cool. Either put in fridge or just get to room temperature. Add 1 liter of everclear and 1 pint of fireball. Then enjoy. One thing I did was through out the boiling and cooling process I did was taste it to make sure it was going to be good. And it was. What I would do differently is use 1/2 gal of everclear (either 151 or 190 proof) instead of 1 liter. I would try and keep it at 1 pint of fireball, but I could see using 1/5th.
I have a great apple pie recepie also. I've had goldeneyes pie and its very good. Would anyone be interested in a "pie swap?" I would like to try jrebels fireball pie and ive been trying to find a good peach pie recipe.
