I got drawn for a Doe Tag for Minot Peak.  Hunted 2 evenings in Capital Forest and saw does every day.  No bucks but of course I had a buck tag so it makes sense they wouldn't show themselves.   

Hunted 3 evenings in Minot Peak trying to fill my doe tag or buck tag and I haven't seen any deer.  I guess if I think about it that makes sense I wouldn't see anything, since I can shoot either sex in that unit.   

I swear the deer know. . . . .

When I was a little girl we would go hunting over at pilot rock in eastern oregon. My mom would say to us kids " the deer read the news papers and know is hunting season, oddly enough I still believe that today!!
