I agree on the deer and elk getting out and about when it's dumping rain.   I think it is just too noisy in the woods for them to feel safe with all the big drops coming down.  They seem to like getting out in the cuts where at least they can see. :twocents:
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

I didnt realize wet side deer hunker down in the rain, I see more deer in the pooring rain than nice weather  usually. I agree with  JPhelps   :tup:

Wow. Me neither.....guess we learn something new everyday.  :dunno:

Ummm I was meaning heavy winds with regards to Deer they seem to not move as much then  :dunno:

I agree.
When I was really ambitious I loved to hunt BTs when the weather was so nasty that the power would go out. If the limbs and trees were falling I was hitting little swails in the larger cuts.
