2012 Opening weekend Mulies
« on: October 30, 2012, 04:34:59 PM »
Opening weekend... long story short,  We had five guys with general deer tags and 2nd(doe) tags.  We finished with 4 bucks... two 3x2's, a 4x4 and a 5x4 plus our does.. one of the guys likes to use a lawn chair and a bottle so he did not hunt much!  Bonus for me.. it was the first time my 9 year old son was able to join me.  I think he is hooked...all he talks about now is taking hunters ed.  so he can shoot next year :)

I don't know how to post the pics in the main part of the message... but here are the links.

If anyone can help me posting pics.. I would appreciate the help

Way to put the smack down on them!  Congrats to all of you.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Congrats. If they have been eating winter wheat they should be good eating.  :cue:

They have been eating wheat.... best tasting deer in the state.  And they eat well,  all of them big thick layer of fat on thier backsides. I heard once that it means we are in for a cold winter.... I guess we'll see!
