Nice! Enjoyed the pictures & the story.  Sorta know what you mean.  Some time ago I stupidly popped a small, 9-yr old sow w/my SKS while Blacktail hunting.  Waited 30 min & crawled into the brush to find her dead.  Was pretty nervous.  Don't hunt w/that popgun anymore.
