« on: November 03, 2012, 02:07:11 PM »
Hey guys...I am looking for a few hunting books to brush up on my skills for next year. I hunt rifle (no archery). I know Boyd Iversons book on BT hunting is on my list. Any others you think are good for overall??? Muleys, Elk and BT. THANKS~

If you venture into the high stuff for mule deer, Hunting High Country Mule Deer by Mike Eastman is a good one.

Cameron Hanes has a couple real good ones. All the Eastman books are pretty good.

Nextbuk outdoors (formerly blood brothers outdoors) has a couple of great instructional type videos about hunting marsh bucks, hill country bucks and farm bucks. I know your looking for books but these videos are very informative and are not like all the other hunting dvd's or tv shows. Pretty in depth look into how to get into the big bucks. They are well worth the money.
When your hunting, you're living. Everything else is just waiting.

The Phantom Ghost of Harriet Lou by Roland Cheek. He is an ex guide/outfitter with great stories.
