Rut Check from Ocean Shores...
« on: November 04, 2012, 05:54:29 PM »
Since I can't shoot 'em, I might as well shoot 'em.  This is what we found today after driving around our neighborhood for about an hour.  more to come, I'll do it in a few posts

This 3x3 thought he was really tough running off this 2x2...little did he know there was a big boy hiding in the bushes.  After a little sizing up, the 3 point took off

This poor guy was absolutely dead tired...somebody wooped him.  His head was laying on the ground when we first saw him.  Thought he was dead.

2 of the 4x4 's I got pics of were almost identical...I had to drive back a half of a mile to make sure i wasn't looking at the same buck.  I wish I knew how to take pics and had a good camera.

Firearm restriction within city limits?...although, there is duck hunting allowed in certain areas.  I really don't know for sure.  If you find out, let me know.

they seriously need to figure out a season for that area the deer are like a plague of rats...lol

I always see awesome bucks in open sores....and there was a busted up doe with a backwards leg who continued raising fawns each year
