Modern Whitetail doesn't get over until Nov. 19th.  But I think if I saw a deer and a coyote side by side, I'd aim for the coyote first!

It's the daughters tag, I still have a few days to carry a rifle for bear when hunting with her so I would be on the yote waiting for her shot to try a double  :chuckle: :chuckle:

I passed through Springdale on my way to/from Usk last month.  Will probably do so this month.  I hate I90!

Sorry guys, I stand corrected, there is still hunting going on in the deer elk dept.  Late deer seems over before it even starts, I shot a 6x6 in the early season just to have more time for yotes!!!  Im out of Medical lake, exellent hunting in our propertys.

I thought about that, but didn't know how to get a hold of you.  Going over it was pretty early in the morning.  I got to Usk just in time for hunting hours to start.  8)

I'll be out there as soon as late buck is over, but I won't hesitate to two a shot at one sooner. I just put a new stock on my 22-250 ai tonight, so ill get it all re dialed tomorrow after work and also make sure my 243 ai is on. These dogs are in trouble though, my buddy and I have been putting out scraps from his elk and kids deer.

ok who did it? Who took my yote I dragged up to the road by my truck?  :bash: :bash: Made five sets today, forgot my card and don't like to be photo'd so I drug it up to the road less than a 100 yards from my truck. figured I would leave it there go do another set further in the woods. We I got back out to the road, it was gone  :dunno: guess it's my fault for being lazy and not dragging it all the way to the truck and tossing it in, but seriously who steals a yote? :yike:

really, I can't think of anything that would take a dead yote. So must be someone screwing with me, or the stevens county tourney is up and running again and someone grabbed it for that. :dunno: Last time I am lazy about packing out a yote I guess. Keep waiting for my phone to ring with one of my buddies laughing asking if I am missing something.

Forgot the card this morning, that's why I was bringing it back to the truck. Fur was good, except for the 4in exit wound  :dunno: 25-06 with ballistic tips does a number on them... next time the ar will get used by me instead of being loaned out.

:dunno: if he wasn't dead he was the best possum play yote ever, drug him over 500 yards. Plus that 4in exit wound.  :dunno: Maybe I will have to shoot them again next time. :chuckle: :chuckle:
