Elk tags filled
« on: November 07, 2012, 11:28:45 PM »
Well my two hunting buddies and I all filled our tags this year...  Nothing big just brush racks but fun year with good buddies.  We got them at different times, different herds, but in the end tags are filled!!!!!!!

You guys shouldn't be so afraid to show some teeth  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Seriously good work though and I hope the processing was as much fun as the harvest.  Good eats in those younger bulls.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Nice.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I don't think we ever really smile.  I think its because we were all worn out.  We got all three elk out whole this year which for me is unheard of but they were close enough to the road a block and rope worked!!!!!
