Is Washington State Natural Resources Land Legal to Hunt
« on: November 10, 2012, 06:55:00 PM »
I have some land close to me that is teaming with deer. Is surrounded by private land on all sides that I'm aware of. The land is Washington State Natural Resource land. Is this land legal to hunt with archery tactics? Any information will go a long ways. If it is legal to hunt would putting a tree stand made of wood be legal also? Thanks for all the help.

If it is landlocked you can not access it.

Contact DNR about a Public Lands map. You may be able to find one on their website.

Legal to hunt. But the state will frown upon you for pounding nails in the peoples trees.

If he has permission to cross the private land it should be ok.

I have access to it so trespassing isn't an issue. As far as the tree stand that's what I kinda of figured. So is Washington state natural resources(w.s.n.r) the same as DNR then?

I'm not aware of an organization by that name.  I suspect it is Washington state DNR.

Yes,  Often county parcel data says that.  It is DNR.  Nails in trees is a bad idea.   Can really mess with equipment.  Makes hunters look bad.
