Elk in North Bend
« on: November 10, 2012, 02:40:36 PM »
Can't say these animals are dumb.  Right near the ranger station in North Bend.   :chuckle: :chuckle:  Didn't see horns on anything but they sure were looking across the road alot into a field.  I think in the back ground in the city of North Bend corp yard.

Here is a pic of some elk in the North Bend this past spring.  I was in that area working with the Snoqualmie Valley Elk group doing some elk census, counting elk a few times a week.  One day I was working with them we got a elk in one of their traps and we went and put a collar on her.  I pic of that too.

Let's  tell every body about
the elk in northbend so we get more
People to come to are town to hunt
let's put maps and mark   the 4 to 5 spots
That we have to hunt. But one good
thing ill get 10  points when I turn trespasser
In we already have indians last week shooting
Elk sweet.

Where have you been? I suspect most of the members here have known about this herd for years.

I liked it! I like seeing pictures of elk. My response was referring to the reply posted by STW.

X2 nothing new. I worked at the MT Si golf course for 2 yrs. 2 7x8's are back by hole 8 lol. Would see 5 different 6x6's all hiding out near the back nine by hole 14.  Serious elk in there.

Also by the airplane landing strip near Snoqulamie pass by exit 45....

I ran the pineapple classic today at a farm on the north side of town. Can't remember the name of the farm. Anyway the whole 5k race is on this giant field. The whole field, everywhere you look, is covered up with elk poo. Huuuuge field.

I am going to advertise a 5K race in someones field.   When everyne shows up to run it, I am going to turn them all in for trespassing to get my 10 points each.......yep that is what I am going to do. :)
