anyone know their way around mount spokane. i would like to try and go out for some snowshoe hare, but not by myself since i dont know my way around?

The unit or the actual mountain?  Unit is mostly private. Mountain is mostly state park I believe.  Which is not huntable.  Lots of IEP land which you will need a permit for.
