I need Stock Capes!
« on: September 04, 2012, 09:09:40 PM »
Hey Guys Deer and Elk Season are here.  I am in need of some Extra Capes for stock.  Every year I get in animals with a cape that is unmountable for one reason or another and I like to have stock capes on hand for those that may need one.  Some of the capes I am interested in:

Blacktail Deer
Mule Deer
Whitetail Deer
Antelope
Elk
Moose
Black Bear (full hides must include claws)

Price depends on the size and quality of the cape.  Deer Capes bring up to $75. Elk up to $125.  XXLarge capes can bring more.  I will exchange antler plaques for capes or shop credit.  If I have enough cash available sometimes I will pay cash.

If any of you shoot an animal with a nice cape and decent neck size and don't plan on mounting it, please let me know.  Just cape it out and put it in the freezer or bring it right to me.  The antlers and/or Horns will be returned to you.  If you have any questions just give me a call: (360) 704 - 0034.

I've got an early archery west side raghorn elk cape from last year if you're interested. It's all rolled up hair out, face and ears inside...as a fellow taxidermist I just can't put myself to throw a cape out!

I have several bear hides that are skinned for rugs. I skinned one for a shoulder mount. I want to keep the skulls. Send me a message if you are interested.
