need a hunting buddie

This is my first season for deer and i am trying to find a hunting buddy with some experence to show me the ropes.  If anyone is interested let me know i live in woodinville and am whilling to drive where ever to get a deer.

i dont know much about the eastside. always hunted blacktail. seems like there is alot of us in the same boat. probably for different reasons. all my old hunting buddies are a 2hr drive away.

good luck, lots of people here that if they see this they'd throw you an offer... Found me someone to show me what i'm doing the year (as opposed to previous years where friends and family were an example of what not to do).

This is my first year also but went hunting alot as a early teen. if you want to team up i got a spot to go and give a try. i saw deer there a plenty when i was turkey hunting and planed on going there last weekend of the month. so if your game leave me a message.

I tell you what. I was a green horn to this hunting thing a few years back. The biggest help I found was to get your hands on reading material. What kind of animal are you after? What are the habits? What they eat? Were do they like to bed down? How do they travel about there area? Black tail and Muley's are as different as day and night. Then there is the deers habitat, high country Muley's low land Black tail. Read maps, look at the country were you think will be best suited for your physical level. READ, READ, READ. Make friends with your local taxidermist. Hunters talk to them like there a Catholic priest on confession day. Even if you can find some one with the same skill level as yourself. I guarantee your skills will improve and so will the style of hunting you decide works best for you. No one person can tell you how it's done. Just my

We will be hunting over by Harts Pass in Mazama on Sept 15th -20th. If you have a bow tag its open or Rifle is if your hiking into Pasayten. Our camps always open but bring Coors Light!!!! Helps put us to sleep for the big day!!!!!!

(Archery only) I put 2 years in before I downed my first deer. Get some good binocs, and comfortable shoes and dont come back until you need new shoes.  .  The only way you will find deer and see deer is to get out there. After you are armed with knowledge use it. I can tell you how to hunt whitetails all day. However, I just came to the side of the country and blacktails and Mountains are a whole new ball of wax.   Some of the best advice i can give is this...

If you have never shot at or downed a deer take the first opportunity you can and get it out of the system. You will learn so much.   But remember once the deer is down the hunt isnt over.
