« on: November 19, 2012, 11:17:04 AM »
after this season of rifle hunting with my kids because the oldest daughter(15)isn't ready to bow hunt yet . i'm looking around to find little brother a bow so we don't have to hunt with the masses :bdid: . every where you looked you saw orange !!! so after surfing the web i only find a few bows that will fit a L/H youth. my daughter is shooting the bear apprentice 2 . little brother doesn't want the same bow :bash: wants to be his own little man.cant have the same as big sis. anyone have a different youth bow with good reviews?

Diamond infinite edge or razors edge.  reliable, highly adjustable, come fully equiped.  Under $400 brand new (probably under $300 for the razors edge)

You didn't tell us what age/size little brother is though.

Diamond Razors Edge!!!   Cant beat the Growth Op and Adjustability in Draw Length and Poundage.

My 2 cents

Alpine Micro is a great adjustable bow. Its what my wife shoots. Mathews also makes one that lots of the kids from Silver Arrow 4h shoots.  :twocents:

He should fit a razors edge or infinite edge really well then.

They sell them with your choice of limb weight, and you can send them in to get upgraded when he's ready.  The draw length and weight are extremely adaptable even without trading out the limbs.

Another vote for the Mission craze.....my 10 year old shoots one and we have cranked it all the way up to 72# and I have shot it.......The Diamond is a good option as well though.  :twocents:

Keep us posted on how it goes.  I just saw one of those at Cabelas last week, righty though, and thought this might be a great option for my boy in a year or two.  How much was it, if you don't mind?

Yes they do ...I bought my son one ten years ago ...he killed a couple deer with it and we finally passed it on to our nephew .. it was a very good bow for the price and I would definately recommend it
