Texas 10pt Whitetail
« on: November 19, 2012, 11:40:49 PM »
Just got home from the family ranch in Texas. Shot a 6pt at first light at 140yrds. Dropped him dead in his tracks and shot the big guy that evening just before dark. He was walking right at me, downed him at 60yrds. He was real old didn't have any molars just a few teeth up front on top. Overall probably saw about 30-40 bucks in 2 days hunting mornings/evenings. Needless to say Texas has a deer problem far different than us here in washington. I should have figured such when a single tag/license lets you shoot 5 deer (3 bucks 2 does depending on the county)

Nice racks!  Good shooting.

Can't blame you for leaving the bodies out of the picture on a Texas deer   :chuckle:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
