Kewl.  Can't wait to see the pic.  Here is her MT deer #2.   Remington mod 600 "Mohawk" .308.  I think this gun is probably older than me...over 40.

.308 is great , My dad let me use it when I first started hunting. I have taken 10 or so deer with it, only one deer I shot at has got away. Great gun, great post.

Totally different round, but I loaded SST's and Interbonds for my 7 mag this year and had identical accuracy. Dad killed a big cow with the Interbonds and they performed  beautifully. I do know that out of a magnum load the bonded bullet holds together better at close ranges then the SST, but out of the 308, the SST may perform just fine. Seems to work just fine on deer for you!
