I hunt that general area every year. There are some nice bulls still to be had in there if you are willing to work for them. Obviously you are! Great bull congrats!

yup..and it doesnt say he didnt fly in..packing a elk to trailhead could mean packing back to the airstrip. Alot of guys fly in with their backpack gear and take off from the landing
