Serving my bow string
« on: December 06, 2012, 04:55:02 PM »
I have been tweaking my bow every sense I bought it and been having fun doing it.

My latest attachment to my bow, is a string decelerator.  But before I put it on I wanted to serve the bow string at the point the bow string hits the string decelerator module.
I built this cool string serving jig to help me serve my bow string.  It worked great and wrapped the serving string perfect around the bow string.  The serving was nice and tight and the back serving I did worked great.  I touched up the 'pig tails' of the serving with a little heat to secure the ends so they wouldn't pull back through.

I can get into this string serving stuff  It was really easy with the jig I built... :IBCOOL:
I put down 3 inches of serving at the point the module contacts the bow string.

If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.
