A memorial Gander Vally goose call
« on: September 10, 2008, 01:27:04 PM »
Some very fine folks from another site got together a couple of years ago when I had to put ole Bill down and worked out a deal with Mark at Gander Valley Calls and had him biuld me a special goose call with a picture of Bills head and his name on it. Well nothing went right first off Mark had an accident and cut off a couple of fingers then he had trouble with the wood splitting and cracking. Finally the call is done and we can't seem to get it to me, it got returned undelievrable  :bash: but finally the other day it finally made it into my hands.

Sometimes you just don't what kind of supper fine folks are out there that you've never even got to meet. These folks are from the north and south but all points inbetween but they all have one thing in common "THEY HAVE HEARTS AS BIG AS THE GREAT OUTDOORS"

My THANKS go out to each one that was involved. I wish these picture really could show how pretty this goose call is  :IBCOOL:

I didn't know about it, what a neat neat gift.
It doesn't supprize me one bit knowing how generous you've been thru the years.

One thing you'll never have to worry about is dieing a rich man.
I would have chipped in but your on your own when it comes to fingers

what a treasure.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

there are no buddies like huntin buddies
"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

Loving life in the Great Northwest one day at a time.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
