stupid idea for elk hunting....

do you think it would be a better quality elk hunt in wa. if you could only hunt elk every other year? or would it put too big a dent in in game dept pocketbook? at least limit the rifle hunters to every other year. i know some of you guys get your spike every year but you gotta admit most elk hunting areas are a zoo during the modern firearm season.

I think they'll go draw only and raise the prices before they do that.

there was an area in se hills in idaho you could only get drawn every other year worked great

I'm totally for it as long as you can bow hunt in-between....way to many people for my comfort
